I think many people confuse the form of a romantic gesture with its meaning. So, for instance, I'm "supposed" to like a bouquet of roses. But I'd far rather be given a jar of rose petal jam. My worthwhile SO is the person who understands this rather than saying "but girls like flowers!"

It's great stuff! If you have a Middle Eastern store near you gthey probably carry it, and it's readily available online.

Of course then my sweetie brought me roses today and I was utterly charmed because he is him. laugh at myself
