Warren Haynes of Govt Mule, Jim Koch, founder of Boston Brewing. Both were really nice down to earth guys. Johnny Olson, announcer for Price is Right had a place in my old hometown. I used to see him all the time at the grocery store when I was a kid.

When I was small I was a scholarship kid at a swanky NYC school which Diana Ross's daughter also attended. One day she came in person to get her daughter and our teachers brought us out to meet her. She was a tall and glorious goddess, and she said I was a sweet little girl and kissed me on the cheek. Highlight of my life. :D

Also, I went to high school with Seth MacFarlane, who was the school newspaper's cartoonist, as well as an averagely-obnoxious teenage boy. Our paths crossed -- we were both in choir and the musical -- but I doubt he'd remember me, for which I am eternally grateful. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to keep those copies of the school newspaper so I could sell them now. Ah, well.

I met George Takei! and all the Asian actors up to that point, at a benefit for the East West Players (http://www.eastwestplayers.org/). It was in 1995, and the actors there also included France Nuyen, Rosalind Chao, and Garrett Wang.

I was so excited to have my photo taken with him and to shake his hand.

I've also met some other Star Trek and BtVS actors at various cons. Only meeting Nichelle Nichols excited me as much as Takei.

Stephen King lives the next town over so we used to see him regularly around and about when I was a kid (not so much now, but it does happen!). My brother has the best story - he was working as a bus boy at the one fancy restaurant in town (at the time) and SK was eating there when he stopped my brother, handed him some money and asked him to run to the convenience store down the street and pick him up a pack of cigarettes! LOL He totally did it!

I've met a variety of actors at small cons. Linda Hamilton is probably the most famous, but I also met James Avery (Uncle Phil from "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"), Roy Dotrice, and Edward Albert, among others. Some were very nice. Others...not so much. Just like us regular folks, I suppose! :)
