Do you ever have any recurring dreams? What do you think they mean?

Since I left my last job I have been having a recurring dream plot (details often differ) where I am back at work at a combination of my last two jobs. I STG I want to incinerate the neurons responsible.

I have school-anxiety dreams where I'm back in junior high for no adequately explained reason, but those seem to have tapered off lately.

What I have a lot more of, though, is recurring dream geography. When I dream I seem to inhabit a place that roughly resembles my hometown and the surrounding area, but with things shifted around, and with a lot of very specific landmarks that don't exist in reality. I could almost draw a map of it.

I have had uitermittent recurring dreams for the last 30+ years of being on the coast when a tidal wave hits.

I tend to have the during stressful periods, so I guess it's my subconscious screaming at how powerless I feel. Or else it's a past life memory/death?
