I have a bunch of little ones from animals and such but the main notable one is on the sole of my right foot. I tripped over my cat and stood on a nail when I was 12. It was a nail meant to be screwed into the floor to hold a speaker tower but dad hadn't screwed them in. On a horrible fluke the nail went through a tendon. I hobbled in pain for months and thought my only injury was the fuck off huge hole in my foot but I never really got better.

I'd get pain in my foot if I walked too much. A few years later I went back to the Doctor and was reexamined and they surmised that I had torn the tendon and it has never full healed. It became tendinitis. To this day if I stretch my feet you can see that the tendons and muscles in my right foot don't stretch quite right. The pressure I was under and the fact that for years I didn't know so wore dolly shoes and heels meant I caused pressure tendinitis in my other foot from it trying to compensate. Sadly this is now following up the muscle chains and my legs and knees now also have the ailment. My right hip sometimes flares too. I am now very careful about what I wear on my feet. All over one trip over a cat. And the scar is still there to taunt me.
