This is a community dedicated to the LJ refugees who used the Writer's Block community to fill their journals on those days when they just had nothin', and for those DW newbies who are just looking for something to inspire them to post!

The prompts in this community can be answered either by copying the contents of the text boxes on individual posts into your journal and answering them there, or you can answer the questions in the comments on the community post. Because of this, I ask you all to be respectful of each other in the comments. Do not discourse in the comments of the community posts; if the conversation starts to get heated, move it to your private DMs. Anyone who fails to follow this rule will get one warning, and if you violate this rule again, you will be banned.

Hey. Thanks so much for making this community! I loved answering those writers blocks on LJ.
Have you advertised this community in any of the promoting communities?

I honestly don't know why it took me so long to make this community tbh.

I have not advertised it yet; the only promoting communities I've been able to find through search have been fandom-based.

Also thanks for the submissions; I've added them to my list.

I just submitted a few, but in different comments. I'd like to submit more, but I just realized maybe we're supposed to stick to one comment? Or does it matter?

Love this! I was disappointed when LJ stopped doing writer's block, so this is great!

same tbh. writer's block questions were legit half of my old lj.

Can we crosspost question answers from our journals to here? I want a copy on my journal, but also want interaction.

Yes, the box at the bottom of each question post contains a simple copy-paste code that you can paste into your journal. You can answer both in the comments of each post for interaction, and also paste it into your journal for archiving/further interaction.
