If you don't mind my asking, what does it mean to be Cursed (tm)?

Hm... I've been trying to figure out how I might answer this question. I guess the short of it is that "cursed" is a fairly new-ish internet slang to describe anything that is eerie.

It started when people would post "cursed images" that had something off or wrong about them. But then it started to be used more broadly and jokingly for anything that is bizarre or so illogical it's funny. Nowadays, when people say something is "cursed" I think it means anything that made you kind of go "...whut ._." or "how is it possible I'm actually reading/seeing/hearing this with my own two eyes/ears" inside.

In this context, the meaning of "cursed" is in the title of the post -- the darnedest things kids say that just make people go "???"

Thank you for this explanation! I have not heard this expanded use of "cursed" yet, but I think it was the (tm) portion that threw me off more than anything.

I can't think of anything that fits the criteria (I know EXACTLY what you're talking about) though it does remind me of when my nephew was about 2 or 3 years old and he got very upset because he wanted to eat the chicken that he'd raised from a chick (it was not meant for eating). My sister had to go get a package of chicken and tell him that they'd sent it out to be plucked and prepared for eating. LOLOLOLOL
